Product Details

Model 20/80-C Concentrate Disinfectant (Click to enlarge image) Concentrate disinfectants are mixed with water. Each type of disinfectant has a dilution ratio that is required to be effective for eliminating specific pathogens. For example, if the disinfectant
has a dilution ratio of 1 to 16. The first number is 1 part chemical to 16 parts of water. You will find that some manufactures express the dilution ratio as 16 parts water to 1 part chemical. HUBSCRUB will be set up to do the dilution once we know the disinfectant that is being used.

To accommodate different disinfectant ratios, HUBSCRUB uses a dilution tank. The disinfectant is first dispensed into the tank and by using flow rates and level switches , water is added to
arrive at the dilution ration required.

In addition to setting up the dilution ratio, the contact time also needs to be set up according to the manufacture’s requirements. Contact time means the disinfectant needs to stay wet for the
contact time to be effective.

Depending on the disinfectant type, this model will yield 128 to 300 disinfectant cycles per gallon. Once programmed, all dispensing is done automatically. The disinfectant will be sprayed onto the equipment through spray nozzles located on the rotating spray system.
