Served as the construction manager for the Abbey Delray expansion and renovation project in Delray Beach, Florida. This continuing care retirement community (CCRC) provides short-term rehabilitation and skilled long-term nursing services.
The 84,000 SF expansion added a new building to the CCRC with an additional 48 assisted living apartments and 30 memory support suites. The commons area renovation included a variety of spaces and amenities such as a large replacement multi-purpose room (Abbey Center), expanded dining rooms, a bistro, an arts and crafts studio, a library and other secondary uses. A new commercial kitchen provides meals to the expansion areas and catering services to the new Abbey Center. Other new amenities include a fitness and wellness center.
