Product Overview
Cid-A-L™ II Quaternary Disinfectant
Cid-A-L™ II is step two of the CDC two-step clean-and-disinfect protocol. Clean the surface with Turbo Clean™ first, then disinfect with Cid-A-L™ II. Cleaning prepares the surface; disinfecting completes the protocol.
A hospital-use disinfectant on the surfaces you bathe on. When used as directed, Cid-A-L™ II is a concentrated hospital-use disinfectant — an effective broad-spectrum bactericide and virucide—for hard, non-porous surfaces: tubs, showers, floors, fiberglass, plastic, and stainless steel. Add 1 fluid ounce per gallon of water, allow the surface to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes (or 1 minute for SARS-CoV-2), then remove excess liquid. Pre-clean heavily soiled surfaces first with Turbo Clean™.
What Cid-A-L™ II is EPA-registered to kill: viruses. Virucidal against Influenza A2, Herpes Simplex Type 1, Vaccinia, Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), Human Coronavirus (229E), Norovirus, Feline Calicivirus, and PRRSV in 10 minutes—and SARS-CoV-2 in 1 minute.
Bacteria. Bactericidal against a hospital-grade range including MRSA and VISA, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus—meeting all requirements for hospital use.
Fungi. Fungicidal against the pathogenic fungus Trichophyton (Athlete’s Foot) on hard, non-porous surfaces.
Concentrated: one ounce makes a gallon—Cid-A-L™ II is a concentrated formula; one fluid ounce makes a gallon of hospital-strength disinfectant. Fewer bottles to buy, store, and carry, and a lower cost per gallon.
Built for Apollo systems—Cid-A-L™ II is UV-transmissible for use with the Remedy® UV system, and meters at the calibrated dilution through the Advantage™ disinfect cycle—so step two reaches the internal plumbing, not just the surface.
